Geoff JohnsonHRremedies President/Principal Consultant firstname.lastname@example.org Geoff Johnson has the unique experience of having worked as a compliance officer for Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCCP) and as the Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Officer for three of Hawaii’s largest and most respected employers. Fourteen years ago, Geoff founded HRremedies, a Human Resources consulting firm developed to utilize his 40 plus years of experience in the Affirmative Action/EEO arena.Geoff attended San Diego State University and the University of Hawaii at Manoa.For over sixteen years Geoff has been elected to represent the Pacific Region to serve on the board of directors of the National Industry Liaison Group (NILG). The NILG is known as the premiere federal contractor organization associated with affirmative action across the nation. For twelve of those sixteen years he has been selected by his peers to serve on the Executive Committee of the NILG. He was selected by the board to serve as its chair for two separate terms. He is the only board member to have had that honor in the organizations 35 year history. Under his leadership the NILG was awarded the first ever Equal Employment Opportunity Commission Chairperson’s “Exemplary Partnership” award. Geoff has also chaired the Hawaii Industry Liaison Group since its inception 22 years ago.As President/ Principal Consultant of HRremedies Geoff has been is recognized nationally and locally as a expert in the field of Affirmative Action and EEO. He has in the last few years been able to grow his consulting business from the original two clients to a client list that currently consists of 40 (still growing) large, medium and small federal contractors.
